Caramel Glazed Sipe Cake


4 ripe bananas, mashed
1 1/2 cups of plain flour
3/4 cup caster sugar
1/3 cup melted butter
2 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
Pinch of salt


Preheat the oven to 350F.
Mix the mashed bananas and the melted butter together. Add the sugar and mix again
Add the eggs and the vanilla and mix again.
Add the salt and baking soda and mix again.
When everything is well combined add the flour and mix one more time.
Grease a 8in x 5in loaf tin and pour the cake mixture into the tin.
Place in the oven and bake for 1 hour or until well-risen and golden-brown.
Allow to cool on a rack then just slice and serve!
